Caramel Bramley apple energy balls


These delicious energy balls are quick and easy to make and are the perfect on the go snack. They’re also great to have handy in the fridge if you need something to keep you going between meals. What’s more, they’re vegan, gluten-free and high in fibre.

Shopping list 

(Makes 22)

175g (1 3/4 cups) – use gluten-free oats if allergic/ intolerant to gluten

200g dates

100g almonds

50g (1/2 cup) ground almonds

1 Bramley apple, grated

1 tsp cinnamon

Pinch of salt

What you'll need

  • Food processor

  • Air tight container

Method

1. Blitz the ingredients

Add all the ingredients into a food processor and blitz until completely blended.

2. Shape into balls

Shape into balls and roll in ground almonds.

3. Refrigerate and enjoy!

Refrigerate for an hour to firm them up. Keep in an air-tight container in the fridge for up to five days.
